re: Would you fund your kid's IVY league education if you could?

My son has a similar resume. 35 ACT, national merit finalist 4.5 gpa and some extra curricula’s. He’s not even interested in the $$$ schools. He’s looking at the $$$ the state schools in the region are offering and the six figures in his 529 and salivating. Probably going to Bama for the 5 year full ride STEM/MBA program. If he were interested in IVY or one of the more prestigious schools I imagine we’d figure out how to make it work. I’d support what he wanted to do and has earned hoping he’d stay STEM but that’s not the way his mind works.
