In some ways we are already more socialist than the USSR was.
They didn't have welfare. If you were unemployed they found you a job. You might not like the job but your alternative was starving to death. It was great motivation to take the job.

Swing states mostly controlled by Republicans… securing safe and fair elections should be priority one going into 2024.
