You can say this but it doesn’t make it true. It’s a political issue. This will divide people

BSA as an organization has been infiltrated and corrupted. Many many BSA troops are connected to Christian schools or churches, and they won’t like where BSA is going - if they even made it past the girls being included. BSA has Christian roots so it’s a really sad affair that they’ve become so political. The most unfortunate part is that the Eagle rank is one of the only points where the national organization is involved, so they can force the issue here and make troops comply if they wish for their scouts to be registered Eagle rank. They didn’t have that capability with integrating the girls into troops. The troops can just fake the paperwork for a merit badge, but the national org is going to at least show compliance on this issue with the paperwork showing their Eagles are getting this indoctrination

The BSA will only survive if scoutmasters and involved parents at local levels are level headed and continue to focus on the core values of the BSA, the roots of the organization, and keeping scouting fun and less serious
