There's a reason this dude hasn't been a HC despite the interviewing he's done. For one, how much of that offense is actually his doing? And two, how is he in interviews? Both of those things might be raising some red flags causing some to pump the breaks on him.

The Leftwich thing could be very interesting in that I have heard he is going to be able to create an incredible staff around him. I also know he is very popular with the players across the league. It is possible they would levitate to him.
I ever thought of him as a smart qb but I do believe he at least has some control over the offense in Tampa. It is not just Brady.

If he can surround himself with quality assistants I think Leftwich wouldn't be a bad candidate. I do question how much he actually did with Bruce Arians and Tom Brady around. Now that he's missing one half of that equation the Bucs have regressed.
