We just returned from a Thanksgiving cabin trip to Dollywood, etc. It was our first time going to Dollywood. We went on Friday. Extremely family oriented. Decorated beautifully for Christmas and of course Christmas songs throughout the park. The Christmas songs they play there are actually about Baby Jesus, you know, Little Drummer Boy, etc..
Christmas songs that you would NEVER hear in Woke Disney, Universal.
They have some pretty good rollercoasters…. it’s not a Cedar Point. They have rides for every age to enjoy. I suggest going at this time of year because of the Christmas lights and decorations. They also have it decorated at Halloween time but it’s called Harvest Fest.
“Dollywood's Halloween-themed event goes by “Harvest Festival” and the “Great Pumpkin LumiNights”. Dollywood takes pride in creating a family-friendly, not-so-spooky event that's fun for all ages. That's one of the reasons why you'll almost never see the word Halloween in relation to this event. “
It looks really cool and that area is so pretty at that time of year with the leaves turning colors. I definitely recommend going for either the Harvest Festival or Dollywood’s’ Smoky Mountain Christmas.
