Lol y'all are out of your minds if you think Jayden isn't coming back to start.
I'm just gonna trust Brian Kelly but look at his previous QBs and current recruits. He wants a mobile QB and Jayden is his guy.
Walker will start in 2024 unless Jayden struggles to throw the ball again.

You may be right. If JD comes back, LSU again won't make the CFB playoff. At this point in his collegiate career, he's a finished product. This was supposed to be a one and done year for him. He stated he wanted to improve his draft stock. JD was a freshman phenom at AZ. St. However, he never regained that form and ended up here after a covid season and a very subpar season. He threw deep balls in his 1st year but appears to be shell-shocked from last year's 10TD/10INT season.
I know this sounds crazy but I think he cares more about his numbers than he does wins and losses. How often has a coach stated in a public presser that our QB is being too conservative? That's usually not the nature of a QB.
I think JD has someone in his camp advising him to look at the bigger picture and keep his turnovers next to zero so he can improve his draft stock. That's the only way I can make sense of a QB that threw it constantly downfield but all of a sudden is afraid to.
