Went back and dug up what I posted about The Last Kingdom when I finished it:

I'd put this show against any other as best of all time. Definitely just as good as GoT and certainly had a better ending. But imo it's up there with Breaking Bad, Sopranos, The Wire, GoT, etc
Just so well written, the scenery and sets were incredible, brilliant pacing, fantastic actors. You get emotionally invested in the characters and the relationships.
Can't wait for the movie to come out. DESTINY IS ALL
It's a must watch.
