Secondary Math/Science Education is such a waste of potential for people. Math education majors should be majoring in engineering. If they want to hedge their bets and have a teaching credential to fall back on if they can't get a job, there should be an option for them to get a quicky credential.

But, Education Departments and their allies want people to think there is something important you're missing out on if you don't have an education diploma. Really complicated stuff putting together a 20 question exam that's already dumbed-down.

(I do think, even with the quicky credential I mentioned earlier, you still need some formal training on special education students so you don't screw up an area of extreme legal liability, and maybe you need a semester of internship under a teacher to get experience...but other than that, the rest of standard College of Education curriculum is useless.)

WTF? That’s absolutely terrible.

Physics is the subject that uses the language of math…Engineers use shitty approximations, and they never GAF about boundary conditions. Terrible take is terrible.

E to the I pi minus 1 equals zero is the greatest equation ever…and that dumb frick who made the list should stick to engineering.
