The LSU h2h problem goes away if LSU loses to UGA or A&M…3 loss vs 2 loss
I wouldnt be so sure about Ohio State being ranked ahead of Bama. Their last game is going to be a 3 TD loss at home, while Bama’s last game is looking to be domination of their hated rival and their only 2 losses were last second walk off plays on the road against top 10 teams. Late season losses hurt worse than early season ones when it comes to human rankings, especially lopsided late season losses.
Hate to say it, but Bama absolutely has a path thats not even as unlikely as 2007 LSU. Bama definitely needs UGA to beat LSU because if LSU wins, then Bama stays as the 3rd SEC team in the rankings and there’s no shot in hell the committee puts 3 SEC teams in. But TCU losing in the Big 12 title game produces a 3 loss champion. USC losing to either Notre Dame or PAC-12 championship game would eliminate them. That leaves UGA and UM as 1-2 being only locks. If Michigan got upset in the B10 title game, it probably helps Bama’s cause because it’d be hard to justify both UM and OSU getting in as 2 non-champs from the same conference, even with 1 loss each
