I’ll be in “bean town” Saturday night. Any suggestions on a cool pub that would likely show the game?

There’s a Facebook page for lsu fans in Boston that I found when I was there. I can’t remember the name of the bar though, good luck

The black rose on state street near the wharf is a cool Irish bar, it has a few TV’s that I’m sure they’d switch the game on for you.
Me and the wife were down in June, we watched the Celtics vs. warriors game there, got pretty loud, but a lotta fun.

Causeway
We were in Boston for the opener vs FSU...will have a great LSU crowd...my only issue is the TV setup is terrible...there are a decent amount of TVs but hanging lights block a lot of them, so unless you are at the bar/table directly in front of one you have to bob and weeve around lights to watch..that being said would definitely go back again...if the TV situation bothers you across the street is a sports bar at TD Garden across the street

Causeway is the LSU place but I prefer the Beantown Pub by The Common

Legends Bar on Causeway IIRC. It has been about 10 years since I was there but it was awesome. 5 floors, two floors dedicated to LSU Alums, one for Ohio State, forgot what teams dominated the other floors. Terrific place to watch LSU. It's near Fenway Park IIRC.

There's an LSU bar two blocks off Fenway Park first base line. Purple & gold touches, NOLA accoutrements. Owner is an alum. Called the Baseball Tavern.
ETA Looks like it shut down, nm

Baseball Tavern is a true LSU bar (not just decorated on gameday). They have the LSU stuff up all year. Been there for packed LSU games where even ex band members show up and play all of the rituals.
