Boiling a turkey,,,,,,crap

So we gut conned into going to some friends house tmrw,,,,,,they have been talking about a turkey they ate last year that was boiled in crab boil,,,,,,I’ve never done this,,,,so supposedly you inject this thing and boil it in water with salt, crab boil and all the veggies,,,,the bird gets boiled about 50-60 mins depending on size,,,,,,wish me luck,,,,,,,tips for those who have done this.

Maybe, only if somebody doesn't know how to properly roast a turkey.
Turkey soup has it's place, I guess. I don't want it for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Injected it, 20lbs, boiled it 70 mins then let it soak for 20,,,,,it was kinda ugly but it came out juicy and tasted awesome
