I definitely don’t think Watson was joking. He has a later tweet saying he wants a public apology for his wife. Also, don’t joke about another man’s wife. On air. When he’s much bigger than you. Have to be smarter than that.

No doubt, but there is peer pressure to do something about it by the other guy or you come off looking bad. Thanks Will Smith.
Peter Burns should issue an apology and just move on with life.

Maybe it was a joke, but there’s a time and place for those types of jokes. During a TV broadcast is not the time nor place.
