It is meaningless. Unless the gay part is the reason for the shooting.
But if it isn’t, it doesn’t matter bc the media will allow that narrative to take root. They want America to feel like a place where their kept social groups are in constant danger. They let the narratives precede the facts. Unlike similar shootings where suggesting Ali Muhammad Nasir might have been a terrorist isn’t permitted.

Correct. They're trying to do just that, through the media.
I would imagine survivors don't all want their business blasted to drama queens.
