No Dinky, he shot more threes because TM3 was not available. True, he can up them to about 6 or 7 per, but his game is midrange and that's what pays come the playoffs. BI will keep his rhythm with the midrange in his bag for the regular season to be sharp when money games are on the line.

Actually, the main thing about tonight's BI performance...was NOT the total amount of 3s he took...but the frequency with which he took them compared to his other shots. I think he was around 21% of his total shots taken, being 3-pt shots, before tonight. 55% of his shots tonight were 3s. He needs to be around 35% of his shots being 3s, like they were the 1st 2 years he was with the Pels. And even higher than that...when he's on the court at the same time as Zion...for obvious reasons.
It's not really rocket surgery...BI shoots around 45/46% from midrange and that translates to around 30% on 3-pt shots. I think BI can shoot 3s at a higher clip than 30%...maybe I'm wrong.
