Those are things that alter all of our DNA, which is what the "pure bloods" all point to as to why they call themselves that. Maybe they should find a more accurate description of what they are, maybe something like "COVID vaccine pure".

But "pure blood" is 100% incorrect.

It is easy to tell how grifters make so much money. They have people believing this is an apocalyptic bio weapon.

You're technically correct, but in fairness, "pure blood" is more politically expedient and pithy.

Everyone knows exactly what it refers to, and those who wield it are making more than a claim about the blood itself; they're also making a moral claim to courage for standing up against tyranny and righteousness in using the word pure. Pure blood thus has greater memetic value and validity despite scientific inaccuracy. (It is ironically used with pride and derision, which is not morally pure... though, again, in fairness, there must be a level of pride to fight the machine and encourage others to have enough pride and courage to stand up.)

These type of word games are usually more effectively used by the left, interestingly. For example, the use of "progressive" to describe the Democrat social agenda... would you argue that anything in the progressive agenda actually represents progress? I would say that this is 100% incorrect as well. Yet, we understand it easily enough in context to know the umbrella of ideas it covers.
