It's not though. Let's say LSU's permanents are A&M, Ole Miss, and Florida. It would be a pod if Florida had to also play Ole Miss and A&M yearly, it would be a pseudo-division where the whole pod has each other as permanents. But that's not what this proposal is, everyone has different permanent opponents.

Ironic you would insult someone else’s intelligence when it’s obvious you don’t have a grasp of how this all works. It is possible to play 3 permanent teams without true 4-team pods existing. Go look at the list from earlier in the thread and educate yourself on how it works.

Better for everyone to think you’re a moron than for you to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Permanent opponents =/= pods.
