Easy as can be. My first trip I side stepped up a slope 10 feet and did not fall getting back down.
Getting on the lift first time I fell down and got hit on the head and they had to stop the lift.
Getting off the lift I fell down and got hit on the head and they had to stop the lift again.
Took about half a day to learn how to turn. In 4 weeks over 8 years I could ski double blacks.
Get the right clothes. Let the experts rent you the right gear. And you are 11,000 feet above sea level.
