I think the stones to do that monologue material about Jews running Hollywood on the largest stage out there for stand up comedy has to factor in. Joking about that topic to their face… I wonder what Lorne Michaels reaction was.

It was a lot more anti-Jew than what you normally would get on network television. The fact that he even named “the Jews” would be enough to get a lot of people “canceled”.
He was not really trying to hide what he really thought.
