I lived on campus 1965-1969 and to the best of my recollection the only air conditioned men's dorm rooms were in Graham Hall just down hill from the Pentagon Dorm. Graham Hall has since been torn down and replaced by more modern dorms since that era.

You are correct that Hatcher cafeteria was air conditioned and so was the lobby area of Hatcher Hall since there were Men Housing Offices located just off the lobby area in Hatcher. My dorm room in Hatcher 1966/67 definitely wasn't air conditioned.
