LA dental center
Aspen
Mint
Etc are all high turnover. More you see, the more you make type of offices.
If you want to get in and out. That's where you go. If you want a detailed work for your hour, you go to an old time dentist who gives 0 fricks about updating

There is an enormous chasm between the two different types of practices you described in your post.. Try and find you a dentist who is in that middle ground.. not 85 yrs old , about to keel over , with the olive green dental chair and faux wood paneling .. but definitely not the massive corporate operations like Aspen, DentalOne et al.. Most dental practices are composed of two or three dentists, maybe an associate dentist or two, and have nice offices, but not ultra-glossy in the tallest building in town.. and the good news for those of us who are male, is that the majority (by a pretty good bit) of younger dentists are female, many of whom are extremely attractive.. and then of course, there are always the hygienists …. One thing i will grant you is that a lot of the medium sized independent practices are now getting bought out by the Pacific Dentals and Louisiana Dentals of the world- the enterprise, group practice model- but it’s still very possible to find non-corporate owned dental offices to work on your and your family’s teeth.. at least, for now .
