I dated an office manager of a children's dentist office many years ago.

The dentist didn't like squirmy kids so she told parents, for bigger procedures, that they needed to go under. More than half of her cases at the time didn't need to but she scammed these parents out of thousands of dollars .

Her anesthesiologist was busy. $$$$
