We don't have expensive knives in the kitchen. Maybe a $50 set. I use the work sharp on them, my pocket knives, fillet and game knives with no complaints.
I've bought some aftermarket belts on amazon with lower grits and used those on my axe, splitting maul, cutting mattock. Its great.
