I have HULU. In game threads if I'm watching on the HULU app, I know what has happened in game threads about a minute before I see it.

If I switch to the ESPN app on the same TV, it's more real time.

I don't get why that happens on the same TV during the same game.

Different companies have different equipment for processing the video into a stream.

Also depends on whether they have any kind of delay with the feed they are converting.
