When was the last time our field was rushed?

Last one I remember was the Aww-burn game...In which thankfully I was at!!

But could be one after???

SO what happened during THAT AU game? Was that the eye stomp? Cigar smoking? Tuba player throwing an elbow? Help me here! There are so many ...

That was the stomping on the eye and the Auburn kicker disrupting the halftime show.

And I was at that MSU game in 2000, and I don't remember anyone rushing the field.

That was the game where Auburn's kicker, Damon Duval, I believe, ran onto the field early after halftime to warm up and got into it with a Tiger Band Tuba player.

In the last few minutes the entire stadium chanted "Auburn sucks! Auburn sucks!" over and over again. That was a lot of fun.

Then the fans rushed the field, but the cops surrounded the goal posts to keep people off of them.

The fans completely ripped up the field, tearing huge chunks out of the eye and everywhere else. Plenty of cigar smoking.

That pretty much sums it up!

2001 against AU

SFP was there!!

Wayne Madkin scrambled on 4th down in overtime, got forced out of bounds about a yard shy of the marker, the LSU players celebrated, and everyone went home. If anyone went on the field, it couldn't have been more than a few people.

a "few". I don't remember anyone rushing the field after any MooU game, at least not like after the '97 Florida game or the Bama game.
