Sober since 2.26.17. For me it was/is the steps not the meetings. I attend now and then but its a very small piece of my "program of recovery". Like I said its living by the principles in the 12 steps which for me is about not being a selfish a-hole and being accountable to my higher power. It took me 20 years to get sober and countless meetings and rehab facilities and jail. None of it worked until I actually worked the steps.
