I never got hangovers. Maybe in high school and college. I think I’d learned to pace myself or how to avoid hangovers.

Not here. I had no way of pacing or controlling it. Towards the end I would buy 2 bottles of wine because one wasn't enough. and then I'd hit the whiskey after that. I've heard some people would drink a handle of vodka a day and stuff like that.
The way I remember it, I was so addicted to it, once I had the first drink that was it. There was no pacing or trying to control it.
