I mean Ole Miss winning would make that win look much better too.

Nobody's talking about it, but if LSU wins out and so does OM, LSU plays in the SECCG. But you could have a11-2 LSU SECC, 12-1 UGA, 11-1 UT, 11-1 OM.

LSU gets in but you would have a UGA undefeated regular season, OM only lost to a SECC, and UT only loss to undefeated UGA.

AND NO MENTION OF BAMA, lol!

What we are looking for are teams that could be ahead of us if they win out. Alabama is not. Ole miss is, they need to lose another game. I agree it’s a long shot they would be ranked above us, but it’s a bigger chance than Alabama

A Bama win does two things: it gives LSU a tiebreaker IF they lose to Arky or Aggie; and it gives LSU 2 strong wins against Top 15 teams.

If Ole Miss wins, LSU cannot afford a loss in SEC play, and it knocks Alabama further down in the rankings, making one of LSU's wins less impressive.

You want Ole Miss and Bama with as few losses as possible to make LSU look better.
