I second the recommendation for Our Lord In the Attic. Also the Van Gogh museum. If you go to the Riksmuseum hire a tour guide.

You have to book tickets to the Anne Frank house about 2 months in advance. It is worth seeing.

Take the short train ride to Gouda to see the cheese market if it is open while you are there.

Take a bike tour in the countryside. We ended up seeing the inside of a windmill on our tour.

A short train ride to Rotterdam is fun and can include a trip to the last church at which the Pilgrims worshipped before leaving to pick up the English contingent and sailing to America.

Restaurant Divan is an excellent Turkish restaurant. Highly recommended.

Thank you!

I think we are planning on doing Gouda; definitely doing a bike tour.
