You might be able to find someone to take if off your hands. Back when I first got married and was broke we rented a shitty little house from a fellow. The interior walls were all strangely colored. One day I asked the old man that owned it about the color. He said he owned 20 something houses he rented and always wanted fresh paint when someone new moved in but didn't want to pay for new paint. He got partial gallons of paint from painters and would just keep adding to 5-gallon buckets and whatever color it ended up was the color for the new house.

Also, there's a similar story about how the Petty Blue color was made.
