I remember that game like yesterday. I was a Freshman at LSU and that game is etch in my memory.

Remember this is when Walter Lewis Was killing teams running the option.

(LSU Coach Bishop LB ) told the players before the game. When Walter runs wide to pitch or keep the option , I Want you guy to attack and hit him hard . I don't care if he pitches it to the RB. Go straight after him.

Late in the first quarter Albert Richardson nailed Walter hard, Stood over him and stated " its going to be like this ALL DAY !!. Quoted after the game.

If you watch that replay LSU were going straight after Walter Lewis the entire game if he ran the option.

By the 3rd Quarter , Walter did not want to be in that game any longer. LOL
