Breakfast recommendations in the Birmingham, Al area?

Will be passing by there sometime earlier in the day soon. Was looking for any recommendations for good breakfast there. Will be passing through on I-20 heading west. Local/Mom and pop establishments preferred.

I enjoyed The Flying Biscuit
If that’s not on your way there is a Maple Street Biscuit Company there as well. It’s not mom and pop, but it’s still good.
