fed funds rate at 3.25% and US Treasury 1y YTM at 4.55%

When rates are hiked 0.75%. Can we expect US Treasury to yield 5.25%?
I know it is more complicated just trying to figure timing on fixed income buys for retirement

Not unless their forecast changes for what they expect the fed funds rate to be at end of next year. All info that’s out there right now is baked into the current rates.

Curve inverted. Short rates are higher than some long rates.
You could see the fed rate go up while the 2 year stays the same or drops as we move closer to a probable recession, if we’re not there already.
