You're comparing dollars spent directly by tourists to "economic impact." The latter is subjective at best. I'd go so far as to call it meaningless.
None of this is to say I don't like San Antonio. I've been to the Riverwalk and I've been to the French Quarter, and at this point I'd much rather go to San Antonio.
