He'll get a chance for redemption in game 5. He pitched well against Yankees after shitting the bed against Seattle.
I know his World Series track record, but you still give the man the ball.

Yes. And although last night certainly was all on him, some of these non wins need a little context. He pitched well enough in both 2017 WS games to get wins…got almost no run support.
2019, he was a little shakier but still very little run support.

I agree with all this. Went to the team store this morning. Merch isn’t very good, BTW. Listening to various baseball stuff on the drive. Analysts say 1st time thru the lineup, JV was killing it with his high FB. 2nd time thru, he started with sliders and stuck with it even though it wasn’t working. Why leave the FB till you know it doesn’t work? It’s possible this was the game plan, but use your eyes and realize the game plan isn’t working.
Then obviously, we all know Dusty fricked up with a capital F! He managed like it was a regular game and continued to ride his horse, even when it was broken. In the WS, 5th inning is like 7th in a regular game. You just can’t let it go that long! You can’t worry about the next game. The future is now and he didn’t act. Why have the best bull pen if you don’t use it?
We can still win this thing. But if we don’t win tonight, we probably can’t.
