Had a great time at the game last night.

Minute Maid was as loud as any place I’ve ever been, if not the loudest.
Made some lasting memories with my son.
Everyone around me knew Dusty fricked up as soon as Garcia was announced. Why not Stanek?

On to game two.

He just left JV in too long out of let's call it professional courtesy. Wanted him to get that elusive WS win. Hall of famer that is 0-6 in WS and blows a five run lead. Unreal

Dusty needs to retire no matter what after this year. We need a head coach that can coach in todays game. Oh and can do anything in the postseason, especially inheriting the talent he has here.

I keep thinking about key turning points in the game. To me, Castellanos’ single that scored the first run was the biggest. JV had him down in the count 1-2 and made a pretty good pitch and he just reached out and poked it to left. Had JV put that ball off the plate instead of middle out he gets swinging strike 3 and gets to reset next inning. And we’re probably looking at a game one win.

The Tucker at bat in the 10th after bregman’s double. He swings at the same pitch three times. None of those pitches were strikes. If he takes a walk or just pulls one to the right side like he normally does Bregman theoretically scores on the wild pitch later.

With regards to the game winning home run, Garcia got too cute. He tried twice in a row to quick pitch realmuto when he had him down 1-2 and neither pitch was competitive. Two non competitive sliders in the dirt. So he gifted him two balls and a full count fastball that he hit out on a choked up swing.

Credit the Phillies for their scrappy play offensively, but we’ve seen this Astros team fail offensively at home in the World Series enough not to be surprised by the lack of run production. Outside of tucker’s two swings we manufactured one run in 9 innings and ZERO after the third. Same old same old.

You mean you prefer an experienced bullpen over a starter? Dusty is a fricking idiot
