I called multiple brokers who could shop different companies. Most were quoting wind and hail through citizens, roughly 6k/yr for citizens wind and hail + private fire/liability.
Finally found a policy through Sure that covered everything at 3.2k. It took a week or so of calling around and shopping different companies but well worth the time.

Appreciate the advice everyone. I put a new roof on the house soon as I bought in May. As long as I can find something under 10,000 a year I can get by maybe not comfortably but can do it. I have a couple brokers I'll check with too

This is who I am with and my policy is a little more than this. My policy jumped because the estimated costs to rebuild went up.
Back to OP, as others said check around with local brokers (I use Riverlands) and they can shop around for you. If your company was going to drop you, you most likely would have already been dropped or would already know by now.

SageSure was fine for me for a little bit but they left Louisiana after Ida payouts. They offered me a Sure plan that was like a 220% increase for the coverage I had with them before. It's a shitty situation to find homeowners insurance in Louisiana right now.
