Kelly, based off of the resumes, was a home run hire especially in comparison to Napier. Kelly had taken over the football programs at four different universities before coming here and made all four either better or excellent in comparison to what they had been. Napier did that once. Napier won the sun belt conference and Kelly played in the college football championship series.

Who knows what the future holds for either two guys, but to this point in time Kelly has cast a much larger shadow than that of Napier. imo
