Turnstile bringing hard rock back in a big way, one of the best shows I’ve seen in quite a long time

I would have loved to see Turnstile, glad to hear they put on a great live show.

It's so crazy that a hardcore band that was playing in front of like 100 people 3 or 4 years is huge enough to play these venues now.
Hardcore punk never really broke into the main stream...
I haven't listened to them in years since I'd randomly watch parts of their shows on youtube.. Did they change their sound or something?
JPEGMAFIA is alright, just not my thing.

Somewhat, definitely more accessible but still very punk. The big thing I think is they’re just having fun and a lot of of audience engagement at their shows has built them a cultish fan base.
There were almost as many girls there as guys which I thought was interesting, they play into that too as their intro song is I wanna dance with somebody by Whitney Houston, which is actually hilarious to start a punk show with but the girls were belting it out. Lots of confetti and stuff like that as well so they’ve taken steps to broaden their appeal.
