You are assuming I fit into a category that that is black or white, or red and blue. I assure you, individuals views are far more nuanced. But I’m wasting my time telling you that.

I’m also not saying I’m offended by what aikman said, I’m not. I’m only saying that some of our vernacular implies some things that we might should think about changing. No big deal if we don’t, but thinking about our words is a small way to spread goodness to one another. I say stuff everyday that I probably shouldn’t so I’m not taking some high and mighty stance on this, I’m just saying words carry power and it’s something to think about.
