Switch happens at 2:21 in the video. Right before this BK was telling Bech to line up on the 5yd line on right side of field. Coaches screwed this up

You are using confirmation bias.

Kelly clearly says “Five yard line” but doesn’t say anything about the “right side of the field”.

In fact, there are two returners back, one to each side, and in the seconds leading right to the kickoff at 2:20 he’s clearly waving for both to move toward the LEFT side, based on how they saw UT line up with the holder.

After the kickoff we see Bech running from almost the goal line, so he did not line up at the 5 which is what Kelly specifically told him to do, because of a potential short kick situation, which is obviously what happened.

Bech was late getting to the short kick because he was lined up deeper than he was told to be by the coaches.

Come on.. watch the video. It’s clear that he waved to LSU sideline & says 5 yd line.
I was there, I saw Bech originally lined up on LSU’s sideline.
At the 2:21 mark in the video, it is clear him & Polian change their mind & start waving him to the other side of the field. It was too late
