I have a 19 4x4 and have had no issues with the transmission.

Have a ‘21 with 44k miles and no issues. Ford did add AFM but it is much different than GM’s versions that have them so much trouble. You can’t tell when the truck is using it or not. Tow/haul mode disables it as well as Sport mode I think.
