You ever put your hand on a warm brick wall after the sun has dipped below the horizon?

The energy traveled through the all the miles to warm the bricks. Through that vast void. It is almost like you are a part of that relationship for a fleeting moment. And tomorrow it will happen again. And the day after. And again and again. But you might be the only person who passes by and pauses to feel the warm rough surface.

Warm cow patties will probably do the same.

All I got from this is that sunlight can't melt stone bricks.

Usually, these kind of posts don't show up till after midnight. Nothing wrong with an early start, I guess.

A brick is inanimate so it doesn’t have a relationship with anything. It’s more interesting to consider that the sun comes up every day and provides life for every living thing on earth. I actually do think about that almost every time I see it rise on my way to work.

I know of one brick that had a very disastrous relationship with an ex of mine. It ended up becoming acquainted with my back windshield.
