My guess is that at the start of the game with both teams fresh, we aren't winning our 1 on 1 battles or are just stalemating at most. As the game wears on, the opponent's play slips some as he wears out but our guy's play stays at the same level as the beginning of the game. So battles we weren't winning in Q1, we are dominating in Q4.

Couple that with the fact that Matt House appears to be a wizard with halftime adjustments and you have the 2022 LSU Tigers.
