I haven't been in 20+ years.

Looking to do a week trip... how is the East side of the Island?

I know about 3% about GC anymore.

Suggestions anyone?

East end is exact opposite of the west side (7mile beach). It’s quiet, less people, less restaurants / bars, no large resorts, and it’s further from town and 7 mile than you think. There are a couple cool spots to eat and hang out that way, two of them being David’s Deep Blue and Eagle Ray’s. Make sure to stop in to both if you stay on that side of the island.

Just know being out East you will be a good ways from the “action”. The beaches themselves are fine but pale comparatively to 7 Mile Beach.

Thanks, that's very helpful and actually more what we're looking for.

There's some Airbnb condos on the east side that look good.
