2009 Arkansas Florida was the clearest example I've ever seen. Nothing comes close.

If you don’t think the leagues have a vested interest in certain outcomes and don’t act to try to ensure certain outcomes, you’re naive.

It is why I hate instant replay in all sports and it’s also why I hate that at least NFL officials wear ear pieces now. Those things lead to more people involved and less transparency.

It was so bad that crew got suspended for a few weeks.

That game was clear enough example to me that they definitely favor the more highly ranked team, and will do what they can to give them the edge in a close game.

Had to have undefeated Florid and Alabama in the SECG. Same season as the PP7 interception.
