I will say, seeing their camaraderie in that interview gets me more hyped than anything for this season.
It really did appear like it was two good friends cutting up about some inside jokes while Nance was taking the spotlight.
Something you never really saw from those two before.
It was always Zion with Lonzo/others and BI with others. Rarely were they actually interacting, near each other, even on the court it felt awkward/strained.
CJ really seems to have bridged that gap with his dinners and leadership and now they look like old friends.

CJ is a wonderful person.
he's an officer in the union for good reason.
he was a great pickup beyond his defense and shooting.
