We went in June. Toured Maker’s and Buffalo Trace. Recommend both.
Stayed at a B&B in Bardstown. Beautiful small town, slower pace, but still a lot of good food, nice breweries, even some live music and a little night life. Only 45 mins from Louisville, we went to night racing at Churchill Downs one night. If that vibe sounds enticing, consider it. It’s the only place we’ll stay from now on.
