To be honest we seem to be heading in that direction where I am. The wait time for an appointment is around 4-6 months unless you get lucky and there is a cancelation. I don't know if it's people catching up from putting it off because of Covid or if it's a shortage of dentists in my hometown but the wait times are much longer now

I called in July to schedule to schedule a cleaning in Denham Spgs bf my daughter started school. The soonest appt they had was first week of December.
