Not surprising. The NHS is arse. It's severely under funded.
I don't know how, when they pay slave wages and ration services, but it's still underfunded.
NHS pay scale.
Band 1* £20,270

Nursing is the only degree that women get in mass in the United States that actually pays well. Imagine if we paid nurses this little. The feminist would be in the streets.
A Band 5 registered nurse is making 30k. That's after years of raises.
I wouldn't even want a nurse who would accept a 30k salary to look after me .
