Whats your favorite? I'm taking a couple friends out for sushi tonight and want them to eat right.

A friend of mine eats sushi in Lafayette just about every day. Sure he'll probably die of iodine poisoning or some shite, but I digress.

He sweats "Tokyo Live" like nothing else. He said it's by far better than any other sushi he's had in Lafayette and Baton Rouge.

Good choice. I have eaten there several times and have never had a complaint.
A buddy worked there and claimed it to be one of the cleanest Back of house establishments he had ever seen and this was about 2 months ago so i give props to Tokyo live for it.

I'll let yall know the results tommorow. BTW I went check out the green egg grills and those things are BAD to the bone. They have a large selection of them at a patio/grill store right outside of river ranch.

I do not share the love for Tokyo Live.

The floor fans will freeze you out while you have your initial drinks..............until the habachi grills get fired up, then its rather warm in the place.

Food is only "okay" in my book.

To each his own, though.

same here. It was good but not GREAT by any means. The calamari was very good though. Beleive it or not, my favorite so far in lafayette is still Shangra la.

Glad you said that. I'll have to try Shangri La for sushi next time. It's close to my work, too.

Is Sakura any good?

It must have went down hill pretty fast because a year ago it was by far the best in Lafayette, but like I said it's been a year since I've been.
